Near Beirut's port silos lots of ammonium nitrate was scattered in the warehouse and the blast was affected about 10 kilometers of area and lots of people died in the explosion and wounded.
- In September 2013 one ship headed from Georgia to Mozambique and faced technical problems and had to dock in Beirut port without checking and after reveled that shop was carrying about 2750tons of Ammonium Nitrate.
- Ammonium nitrate is mostly used in fertilizer but if adding of explosive material aluminum powder that found be a huge blast in that.
- After government officials are forbidden to sell ship ahead according to report published in news and owners of ship abandoned that project and decided to leave without the ship.
- Now the government decided to keep in the storage house but the port is a very busy location and keeping ammonium nitrate was a huge mistake and from that day it was kept in it and now blast happen very horrific. It is a huge disaster.
Donald Trump commented on it and said the USA stands with Lebanon and if any help needed will be provided but also he added that was an attack.
