The protest began after a copy of the Quran Burned by anti-muslim Activist.

Malmö is the third-largest city in the Swedish Country of Scania after capital Stockholm and Gothenburg with a total population of about 10 million & most followed religion is Christian(85%) and Muslim population(8.1%) data in 2016-17. It is far high than the total of Europe's population of Muslims. So lots of migration happens in Sweden.

What was the Reason Behind Riots?

Far-right Danish party Stram Kurs(translation in English called Hard Line) and its party leader Rasmus Paludan wanted to do a meeting in Malmö, Sweden about "Islamization" in Nordic countries. It was founded by Rasmus Paludan mostly known by its Anti Islamic Stance. His agenda on building an anti-Islam narrative and engaging in acts that are offensive towards Islam Muslim. According to him, the Muslim population will cross about 25 to 30% of the overall world's Population.

Why do they meet in Malmö even they belong to Denmark?

Because Malmö's population of Muslim people in total(16-18%) of total city's Population & Rasmus know that if they would intervene in Malmö so there would incite of Muslim people and he'll get people's attention. 

Sweden's government authority be informed in advance that what is intended for Stram Krus and after Swedish authority sanctioned on him also He uploaded the video on youtube as Anti-Muslim comments and posted many images on Social Media.

After hearing all sections on Rasmus one of his followers burn a copy of the Quran and this gave trigger to start Riots in Malmö. Muslim People rushed onto streets and supporter of Rasmus & Muslim People cleaned between each other and vitiated many properties. About 300 rioters threw stones at Police burned tires and yelled, "We're gonna fuck the system up. How they gonna let a man burn Qur'an." After they throw chunks of concrete towards armed police and stones at fireworks sheltering behind the vans. Further up roads, cars, tires, and pallets were set ablaze.

Who is Rasmus Paludan?

Paludan is a former lawyer and politician mostly known by his Anti-Muslim stance. In June 2020 he was suspended for 3 months in case of involving 14 different charges later he found guilty of them. Also, most horrible is once he tossed the Quran in public and let it fall to the ground. The court banned him from working as a lawyer for three years, and he was also banned from using the driver license for three years.

After his intention done to get popularity in Denmark and internationally establish his existence. Later he put up a scathing message on Facebook" Sent Back and banned fro Sweden for two years. However, rapist, murderers are always welcome!"

After riots peoples of Sweden will separate as religious and it led to the separation of community and it's just not about Sweden but also in Norway, Finland even in the UK as Nordic Countries.
